Refund, Cancellation & Internet Service Policy

1. Definitions

For the purpose of this Policy:

  • “Company” shall mean Sree Broadband, its affiliates, employees, authorized partners, and representatives.

  • “Subscriber/Customer” shall mean any individual, organization, institution, or entity availing Broadband or Internet Leased Line (ILL) services from Sree Broadband.

  • “Services” shall include Broadband Internet Services, Internet Leased Line (ILL) Services, WiFi Services, Network Connectivity Solutions, and associated installations provided by Sree Broadband.

  • “SLA” shall mean the Service Level Agreement mutually agreed between the Company and the Subscriber.


2. Nature of Services

All Broadband and Internet Leased Line (ILL) Services are provided on a prepaid, subscription-based, and advance rental basis, subject to technical feasibility, network availability, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and TRAI guidelines.

The Company reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate any service request based on technical, commercial, legal, or regulatory considerations.


3. Payment Obligations

3.1 All charges including installation fees, activation charges, subscription charges, security deposits (if applicable), taxes, and recurring rentals shall be payable in advance.

3.2 Payments once made shall be deemed final and non-refundable except under circumstances expressly provided under this Policy.

3.3 Delay or default in payment may result in suspension, restriction, or termination of services without prior notice.


4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

4.1 Refund requests shall be considered only in the following circumstances:

  • Where the requested service is declared technically non-feasible by the Company before activation; or

  • Where the Subscriber establishes material deficiency in service substantially below the agreed SLA during the initial service evaluation period.

4.2 Subscribers opting for fixed-term plans of six (6) months or more may apply for cancellation and prorated refund within twenty-nine (29) days from the date of activation, subject to verification by the Company.

4.3 Refund processing timelines may extend up to four (4) to six (6) weeks from the date of approval and completion of closure formalities.

4.4 Approved refunds, wherever applicable, shall be processed only after adjustment of:

  • Outstanding dues;

  • Equipment recovery charges;

  • Physical damages;

  • Taxes and statutory deductions;

  • Installation and administrative charges.

4.5 No refund shall be applicable for partially utilized billing periods unless expressly approved by the Company.


5. Equipment & Asset Return

5.1 All routers, ONTs, media converters, antennas, switches, adapters, cables, and any other networking equipment provided by Sree Broadband shall remain the sole property of the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.2 The Subscriber shall return all Company-owned equipment in good working condition upon termination or cancellation of services.

5.3 The Company reserves the right to recover replacement, repair, or depreciation charges for damaged, tampered, lost, or unreturned equipment.


6. Service Limitations & Exclusions

6.1 The Company shall not be held liable for interruption, degradation, delay, or failure of services arising due to:

  • Force majeure events including natural disasters, floods, lightning, earthquakes, pandemics, riots, strikes, war, or governmental actions;

  • Power failures or electrical disturbances;

  • Fiber cuts, infrastructure failures, or third-party network issues;

  • Unauthorized usage, misuse, illegal activities, or cyber incidents;

  • Subscriber-side equipment, WiFi limitations, internal network configuration issues, or physical obstructions;

  • Scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, or network upgrades.

6.2 The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free services at all times and shall provide services on a best-effort basis subject to applicable SLA commitments.


7. Subscriber Obligations

The Subscriber agrees:

  • To use the services strictly in accordance with applicable Indian laws, TRAI regulations, and the Company’s Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP);

  • Not to engage in unlawful activities, network abuse, unauthorized redistribution, spamming, hacking, or activities affecting network integrity;

  • To provide accurate information and cooperate with verification requirements.

Violation of these obligations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.


8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Under no circumstances shall Sree Broadband be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages including loss of business, revenue, profits, goodwill, data, or opportunity.

8.2 The maximum liability of the Company, if any, shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the Subscriber towards the affected service period.


9. Amendment of Policy

The Company reserves the absolute right to amend, modify, suspend, or withdraw this Policy, pricing, service terms, or conditions at any time without prior notice.

Such modifications shall become effective immediately upon publication on the SreeBroadband(www.sreebroadband.com) official website. 


10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed and construed in accordance with the provisions of the laws of India, including applicable provisions of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, Information Technology Act, 2000, and TRAI regulations.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services or this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located at Guntur/Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.
